5. Listening Section 4 — lecture

   Choose the correct letter. Complete the notes. Write no more than two words.

6. Reading Section 1 — social survival

   You should spend about 20 minutes on this section. The texts are notices you might find at a language centre.

7. Reading Section 2 — workplace

   You should spend about 20 minutes on this section.

8. Reading Section 3 — general interest

   You should spend about 20 minutes on this passage.

9. Writing Task 1

   You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Write at least 150 words.

10. Writing Task 2

    You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write at least 250 words.

11. Speaking

    Official timings: Part 1 about 4–5 minutes, Part 2 (1 minute preparation, 1–2 minutes speaking), Part 3 about 4–5 minutes. We transcribe the audio. Accent is not a penalty if you are intelligible.
