The Level Test is about 20 minutes in IELTS Academic format. You can sit it in stages — not all at once. Every result is recorded, and you can continue at any time. Full General Training and TOEFL papers keep official timings. Listening plays once.

2. Listening Part 1 — Questions 1–4

   Complete the form. Write ONE WORD AND/OR A NUMBER for each answer. The recording plays once.

3. Listening Part 2 — Questions 5–8

   Choose the correct letter, A, B or C. The recording plays once.

4. Reading — Questions 9–16

   Questions 9–12: TRUE / FALSE / NOT GIVEN. Questions 13–14: choose A, B, C or D. Questions 15–16: choose ONE WORD ONLY from the passage.

5. Grammar and vocabulary — Questions 17–26

   Ten items. The paper starts at B1: a correct answer moves one level up, a wrong answer one level down. Choose the option that fits the gap.

6. Writing — Task 2

   Discuss both views and give your own opinion. About 8 minutes, 120–180 words (a full IELTS Task 2 is 40 minutes and at least 250 words). Spellcheck is off. Answers under 40 words are not marked.

7. Speaking

   Part 1: two short questions, about 30 seconds each. Part 2: 30 seconds to prepare, up to 1 minute to speak. Answers under 25 words in total are not marked.
